This simple act of displaying the same pages across the country by churches, schools, libraries, hospitals and homes, spending time with the beautiful images and words, and praying a reflection is a rich symbol of unity among Christians. This seven-day program will bring together people from across the country in communion with God in the days leading up to and during Pope's Francis' visit.

The page-turning schedule is as follows:

Monday, September 21Creation
Tuesday, September 22Abraham and Sarah
Wednesday, September 23Ten Commandments
Thursday, September 24Peter's Confession
Friday, September 25Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes
Saturday, September 26Two Cures
Sunday, September 27Pentecost

For each of these days, Saint John's University School of Theology has written a reflection in honor of the Holy Father's visit. We invite you to visit The Saint John's Bible to celebrate the Pope's journey to America.

The Saint John's Bible is a 15 year collaboration of scripture scholars and theologians at Saint John's Abby and University in Collegeville, Minnesota with a team of artists and calligraphers at the scriptorium in Wales, United Kingdom under the direction of Donald Jackson, one of the world's foremost calligraphers and Senior Scribe to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's Crown Office at the House of Lords.
