Sally Mae Joseph
 Calligrapher/Illuminator
Sally studied illumination, calligraphy and heraldry at Reigate School
of Art and Design (1986-7) and later at Roehampton Institute where she
attained a Certificate in Calligraphy and Bookbinding and Diploma in Calligraphy,
with Distinction.
In 1991 she was elected Fellow of the Society of Scribes
and Illuminators. She has exhibited in many exhibitions and contributed
articles to numerous publications, as well making several videos such
as "Gilding For Calligraphers" and "Making a Manuscript
Page.
Sally is a mother of 4 and has one grandchild. Her youngest
daughter, who lives with Sally in Guildford, Surrey has just turned 18,
leaving Sally "free" to move into a second home in Wales, 3
miles from the Hendre.
