Ecumenism and Interfaith

Saint John's began as one of many outposts of fortress Catholicism, but the experience of religious plurality opened up ecumenical horizons forever stamped by the name of Saint John's University and Collegeville, Minnesota. The Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research links the Benedictine tradition of scholarship with the new openness of Christians to one another and to the world at large.

With commitment to service to traditions of all faiths, Saint John's strives further interfaith dialogue with partnerships including the Jay Phillips Center for Jewish-Christian Learning, the Episcopal House of Prayer, and the Interfaith Sexual Trauma Institute.
