Introduction to The Saint John's Bible

Through video, facsimile, projected images and a real page, participants are guided through the story of The Saint John’s Bible.  Guests are taken through the processes, tools, methods and materials for the project.   Several artworks from the project are also explored through guided imagery discussions.   Participants also get to handle material samples.  This is an excellent place to start. 

Time:   60- 90 minutes, best done on a week day evening.

Audience Size:  Limited only by room size

Host site provides:  presentation space, a large (the bigger the better) projection screen, 3 eight foot tables, a cart, cordless lapel microphone  (if room warrants)

Host site takes care of publicity and often provides refreshments for a social after the presentation. 

Saint John’s Provides:  computer, projector, all Bible materials, images, display materials and speaker. 

Cost:  For off site presentations, a minimum of a $150.00 honorarium to the project is requested plus all mileage from SJU and return at 48.5 cents per mile.  (An average trip to the Twin Cities runs between $70.00 and $80.00) The host site pays for any overnight accommodations if necessary.
