The surreal wonder of Jacob’s divine experience is suggested here with his
dream of the ascending and descending angels. Abstract gold angels are
ascending and in attendance, with those that didn’t make it represented in
black, hurtling earthwards. Fragments of delicate butterflies’ wings are
allusion to the wonders of God’s creation.
