Joslyn Art Museum

Illuminating the Word: The Saint John's Bible continued its national tour at the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, Nebraska.  The exhibition took place January 21, 2006 through April 16, 2006, with opening events January 20-22.  The Joslyn Art Museum contains a vast collection of items from antiquity, including ancient Greek pottery, through 20th century artistic themes of modernism, realism and abstract expressionism.

The Saint John's Bible's combination of ancient methods and materials within themes, images and technology of the 21st century, complemented the museum's extensive collections from the past and present.

Gospels and Acts, Pentateuch, and Psalms were the featured volumes at the Joslyn.
